Representations
C&M understands that we are all unique, from different places and different backgrounds.
In the modern aviation landscape, the concept of representation serves as a multifaceted pillar essential for the aviation industry’s evolution. By fostering Role Modeling and Inspiration, we are bringing in the next generation to envision themselves in technical and leadership positions earned by doing the hard work.
This shift embraces a wider range of perspectives directly enhances Operational Safety and Innovation through robust problem-solving and risk detection. Ultimately, ensuring that all team members have a “Seat at the Table” creates a culture of belonging that is vital for Addressing any Skills Gap, securing a steady path to meet the growing demands of global flight operations.
Human Rights & Ethical Sourcing
- Combating Human Trafficking: We maintain a policy regarding modern slavery and human trafficking. We are committed to ensuring that our operations and supply chains are free from forced labor, and actively engage to mitigate risks of exploitation.
- Conflict Minerals: We share the global concern regarding the sourcing of minerals from conflict-affected areas. We work with suppliers to ensure our products do not contain “3TG” (tin, tantalum, tungsten, and gold) that finance armed groups. C&M makes efforts to utilize only Responsible Minerals Assurance Process (RMAP) conformant smelters and refiners. This is both for quality and consistency for our aviation manufacturing.
- FAA Hazardous Materials (REACH/SVHC): Protecting human health and the environment is as fundamental as clean water. We monitor products for substances of very high concern (SVHC). Aviation Restraint & Materials Codes: We adhere to rigorous material restriction standards, cleanliness to ensure all components meet specific industry and FAA regulatory codes. This includes avoiding prohibited substances to maintain the highest levels of product safety and environmental integrity.
